always at war

                                                       always at war
                                                       with this world
                                                       fighting the flesh
                                                       and the old one
                                                       a war that will always
                                                       rage on and wage on
                                                       till this loveless life
                                                       is dead and done
                                                       and only then
                                                       will this war
                                                       by God's will be won
