autumn of a woodland nymph
Autumn Of A Woodland Nymph
Her brightly coloured
Summer clothing scattered
Across the ground
Carried about
By a whirlwind
Standing naked
Her bare limbs
Stretched skyward
Dipping into the night
Brushing clouds away
Touching stars
Trying to catch
A full yellow moon
She moves
Swaying gracefully
In an ancient
Sylvan dance
That will soon
Carry her off
To a long winter
Sleep
