                                                    Life is a soft furry puppy
                                                    Lost on a cold damp night
                                                    Trying to find his way home
                                                    Hit by a passing car
                                                    Left to bleed in pain
                                                    Whining and crying
                                                    Till he dies in the gutter
                                                    And nothing more


                                                    Love is an innocent child
                                                    With tears in his eyes
                                                    And rolling down his cheeks
                                                    Wiping his nose on his sleeve
                                                    Sitting on the bottom step
                                                    Waiting for his little lost puppy
                                                    To come home
                                                    And nothing more
